Our Coordinators

Kattie Wilmarth - Native Village of Georgetown

I’m originally from Red Devil and now live in Wasilla, with roots spanning the Middle Kuskokwim. Born in Aniak and raised between Red Devil and Palmer by my parents, Richard Wilmarth and Shirley Vanderpool, I am a proud tribal member of the Native Village of Georgetown.

I’m also a mom to my one-year-old daughter, who motivates me to bring my best to everything I do. I love spending time with family, hunting, fishing, berry picking, and creating art with the kids.

As a Watershed Coordinator, I’m honored to give back to my community and work to protect our river for generations to come.

Brianna Sherer - Native Village of Napaimute

My name is Brianna Alaqak Sherer, from the Native Village of Napaimute. I am the daughter of Marcie Sherer (Kristovich), granddaughter of the late Bea and Bill Kristovich, and great-granddaughter of the late Agnes Charles (Hoffman).

I hold a degree in Environmental Conservation and Management from Fort Lewis College and have worked in fisheries with the Native Village of Napaimute and ADF&G. I’m passionate about land stewardship, natural resources, and elevating Indigenous voices.

I’m honored to serve as a Watershed Coordinator for the Middle–Upper Kuskokwim Watershed Coalition and to support the well-being of our river and communities.
